The charity and voluntary sector, also referred to as the 'third sector', aims to create social rather than material wealth. With most charities run as professional businesses, career opportunities can range from operations, fundraising, and policy making to marketing, events, administration and research. If you have an interest in social change, and want to put your skills to use in the charitable sector - this event is for you!

On Wednesday 24th March, pupils and parents from MHSG and surrounding schools and colleges will be able to discover first-hand what it is like to be a successful woman working in the third sector. Students from years 9 through to 13 who are interested in a career in this varied industry, but are not sure what it entails, are welcome to sign up for this virtual event and find out more from experienced professionals.

Our  'Insight Into' careers talks draw on the experience of our alumnae to give pupils the inside track on specific sectors so, join us from 6pm for a LIVE virtual Teams event that brings former Manchester High pupils, Rebecca Morgan, Sophie Fox and Jessica Stewart together to talk about their journey from MHSG to their roles today.

Our speakers range from a Major Gifts Manager to a CEO which means they are well-placed to discuss the opportunities and challenges available to students aspiring for social change.

As this is a virtual event taking place live on Teams, it is vital that you register below if you wish to attend.
