Insight into...Performing Arts
On Tuesday 26th January, pupils and parents will be able to discover first-hand what it is like to have a career in the creative and varied performing arts industry.
Students from years 9 upwards who are interested in a career in the performing arts, whether that’s in front or behind the scenes, but are not sure what it entails or what direction to take are welcome to sign up for this virtual event and find out more from those who have experienced it.
Former Manchester High pupils Mia Serracino-Inglott, Anastasia Booth, Olivia Bromley and guest speaker Sheena Wrigley will appear as part of our 'Insight Into' careers series from 6pm in a LIVE virtual Teams event.
'Insight Into' careers talks will take place over the course of the year where we will draw on the experience of our alumnae and wider community to give pupils the inside track on specific sectors.
Our speakers, who range from a mezzo soprano student at the Royal Academy of Music, through to a Theatre Director, will talk to us about their journey from MHSG to where they are today, and help to give us an understanding about the opportunities and challenges available in this industry today.
The talk is open to pupils from Year 9 upwards and their parents, as well as students from other local schools and colleges.
To attend this virtual event, you must register for your place here.
