Insight Into...Languages
On Tuesday 12th October, we welcomed back two MHSG alumnae to talk to Manchester High pupils and their parents virtually on Teams about the wide range of career options available for those who go on to study a modern foreign language.
The event was part of the School’s series of ‘Insight Into’ careers talks, whereby alumnae and industry professionals are invited to present an overview of their career to a virtual audience.
Donya Beale, a Chartered Surveyor at Jones Lang LaSalle, and Anne Murrell, currently Director of Operations at The Chancery Lane Project, spoke passionately about the opportunities engaging with another language and culture had afforded them.
If you were not able to attend this talk, you are now able to watch this insightful event in full here:
The next talk in the series is ‘Insight Into…Research, Science and Discovery’, which will take place on Wednesday 3rd November at 6pm on Teams.
'Insight Into' talks are free to attend but, owing to the popularity of these events, we ask that you sign up to receive a link.
